Register with TAPnLEAP by simply providing your details through our Teacher Registration page.
The profile is reviewed and if shortlisted, the process would follow an interview by our team. Once the teacher is selected, we would contact you for more details including your mode of teaching, expected teaching rate per hour, bank details etc.
Upon successful registration, we would provide the teacher with a unique Teacher ID for all future reference and correspondence.
Your account is activated by providing a double verification OTP sent by email/mobile.
To register minimum qualifying criteria for a Teacher includes a bachelor's degree or higher from a recognised institute. Also, we require 2-4 years of teaching experience.
Yes, for teachers who are shortlisted and would like to get empaneled with TAPnLEAP, there is a one time non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500/-.
The registration is one-time. However, to revalidate your credentials, we would be requiring the teacher to re-submit their documents / KYC documents once every year.
Payments/ Transaction Fee
At TAPnLEAP, we simply pay you on a per session basis, based on your per hour teaching rate.
We have a fixed percentage commission on an hourly rate.
The commission would help us cover:
- Get you more students, unlike our competitors who just provide you databases to chase students.
- Pay GST and other taxes, so that you do not have to worry on taxation issues.
- Cover the marketing and advertising cost for increasing reach and giving you new leads.
- Provide you better infrastructure facilities.
We pay teachers on a weekly basis.
We deduct applicable TDS when we make the payment. However, this can be recovered when you file your return.
In case any particular teacher has a GSTIN number, the same is expected to be incorporated at the time of registration. This is an optional field. In such cases, the invoice raised by the teacher digitally would capture the applicable GST added to the invoice value.
This happens digitally over the App and the Website. Once the teacher logs in with his/her credentials, they would be able to see their history of classes, payments made / due etc. on their dashboard.
As the payment system is once a week, our system would raise an invoice automatically at the end of the week based on the number of sessions for the week.
Basis the invoice received which would carry the details of the teacher including the PAN number, the company would be making the payment to the teacher, net off TDS. The teacher would also be provided an access to confirm their receipt of funds which would complete the round of payment schedule.
Yes, this is mandatory. Unless the payment received for the previous week classes is not confirmed, no new payment would be initiated by the system.
TAPnLEAP fixes the per hour teaching rate for each course and subject. All sessions are by default for 1 hour duration.
Online/ Home /Group Classes
Online teaching would just require a reliable broadband connection, good wi-fi connectivity, headset with microphone and power-backup. TAPnLEAP provides the online sessions platform through our licensed broadcast partner “Zoom” which includes an integrated "Whiteboard" for online teaching.
It is mandatory for the teacher to have Zoom downloaded on the desktop / mobile where he/she would like to avail the teaching.
Home teaching would just require you to give your location. This would help us find students near or around your location / city for teaching.
After registration, TAPnLEAP team will provide training about how to conduct online classes through the platform.
Group Classes are when there are maximum 2 students present for a session.
Yes, you can take group classes in case of both online and home sessions.
The maximum number of students per group cannot exceed 2 students
The duration for all home/online/group session are fixed for one hour duration.
Yes, you may be able to do the same but this should be acceptable to all the existing students under your teaching.
The teacher is given the flexibility to teach on online and offline mode. However, the student would be able to learn on offline mode subject to the teacher and student are available in the same location.
How does it work?
We remotely monitor your online/home teaching sessions. At the beginning of your session the student and the teacher receives a session begin OTP for beginning of every class on their respective dashboard and on their respective registered mobile numbers as SMS. Both the student and teacher need to enter their OTP in their respective dashboards to begin the class. This is for both home/online teaching sessions.
Similarly, once the class is completed, the student receives a session end OTP for ending of every class on their respective dashboard and on his/her respective registered mobile numbers as SMS. The student needs to enter the OTP in his/her respective dashboard to end the class successfully. This is for both home/online teaching sessions.
Yes, The OTP is valid for maximum 15 minutes before and after the scheduled time of the class.
A session can be set-up by student after discussion with the teacher from the student dashboard. Once the student books the session, the teacher Approve/ rejects the class under “Class Status” section of Teacher Dashboard.
If you need to reschedule your class you need to go to your dashboard and first cancel the existing class and then ask the student to book a new class as agreed between the teacher and the student. However, the revised class booking needs to be accepted by the teacher as well.
Trial / Demo class is offered to all students at a fixed price of Rs.99/-. However, one trial class per student is permissible
Demo/Trial Class is not allowed for Group.
However, the amount of Rs.99/- does not get deducted from student’s account and may be used and adjusted for booking their ongoing classes.
The teacher would not be paid for the Trial / demo class.
The demo/Trial class is arranged to ensure that the students are comfortable with the teacher with their teaching ability and skills. Also, this provides the student to familiarize him / her on the mode of operation for the start and end of class.
My Reference Incentives
For every new Tutor a Tutor refers, the Tutor shall be compensated with INR 350 as a one-time referral incentive, provided the referred Tutor gets empaneled with TNL. and takes at least 2 regular paid classes within the period of being empaneled till the end of the consecutive month of referral. It is to be noted that the referral incentive compensation shall be payable subject to the above criteria mentioned been met and be computed at the end of the calendar month subsequent to the calendar month in which the referred Student / Teacher gets registered

There is no limit to the number of references you could give both for teachers as well as students.
Every student and teacher has a unique ID respectively. You need to ensure that when a student/teacher who has been referred by you registers, he/she enters your Teacher ID in the field "Reference Teacher ID". This would enable us to identify you and provide with the incentives subject to the conditions being fulfilled.
Every teacher upon successful login with their credentials would be able to access his/her exclusive dashboard. The dashboard provides all the vital information like past classes conducted, Class Status, payment received, payment due, next due date of payment, list of student with details for the teacher etc.
All advertisements which the successfully empaneled teacher wishes to upload on the website/app for their upcoming classes would be routed through the TAPnLEAP. You may send a mail to email@example.com with subject line "Advertisement for Class."
The company would review the same and if eligible (based on current teacher's schedule) would upload the same within 3 days from the date of the mail.
All approval of subjects would be basis successful review and clearing of interview (if required) with TAPnLEAP team.
Yes, the teacher can upload and download all their study materials, reference guides, assignments etc. exclusively between him/her and the student on an individual basis under the teacher-student dashboard.
If a teacher wants to share any feedback or performance concerns about his/her student, the teacher may send a mail / contact directly to TAPnLEAP team. TAPnLEAP would reach out to the concerned student immediately and take appropriate steps.
